It was kind of the first family to send us to their neighbors, Roger and Audrey. Roger tried to remember who we could be from memory, but once he found out that we were total strangers, he laughed and welcomed us to see everything about their self-built A Frame House. Audrey also welcomed us kindly, even though she was in the middle of her art lesson with a good friend.

友人を招いての絵画レッスンの真っ只中にあったのに、この訪問を面白がり喜んでくれた。
Roger built their house with his father-in-law in 1968. It took them six months, from May to November, to finish. It turned into a fun family-friendly project and the memory still warms them.
今を遡ること４０年前、義父と共にロジャーが建てた家。
工期は６ヶ月ー若葉が美しい５月にスタートして雪が降り始める１１月に完成した。
今でも思い出す楽しい家族の１ページに。

They used to live in a waterfront, three-story house in Vancouver, the second biggest city in Canada. They had a busy city life - Roger worked hard as an accountant with Audrey's good support. Now they find peace in their A-frame house that used to be their weekend home.
